17. Chelsea Elliott

How mental health affects her life and also affected her childhood.

I absolutely adore my guest this week!

Her name is Chelsea Elliott. She is the Founder & CEO of Sōmōcom Lab and creator of the EQ Kids Crew! ® The Social-Emotional Card Game for Kids. Using her childhood mental health challenges, her company helps adults create emotionally healthy and safe environments for kids while building kids’ confidence, resilience, and communication skills through emotional wellness.

I hope everyone can follow our conversation because when you get two passionate people with ADHD on the same zoom call almost anything can happen. I recently shared some of my story with ADHD on a recent episode of the podcast, so be sure to check out that episode if you haven’t already. It will really give some good perspective to much of the conversation that Chelsea and I had.

Also remember that I am selling books on my website that have been great resources for me on my social justice journey as well as kids books that we use with our kids! If you buy any of them through the links on my site I get an affiliate commission and you are not only supporting the author, and a local bookstore but you are supporting me and the Epics Podcast as well.

Be sure to let us know what you learned from this episode by reaching out on any social media @epicspod and make sure that you are subscribed so that you don’t miss our next Epic story!

Talk to you all next week.

If you want to follow Seide and her story, here are the links you need!
